Tahiti Pro Teahupo'o
The Tahiti Pro Teahupo'o is a crazy surf competition that features many pro surfers from all over the world. Some of the previous winners are Owen Wright from Australia won in 2019, Gabriel Medina from Brazil won in 2018, Julian Wilson from Australia won in 2017, Kelly Slater won from the United States in 2016, and Jeremy Flores from France won in 2015. This surf contest started in 1999 and takes place in Teahupo'o. There are 6 different categories, ride of the year, paddle, women's paddle, XXl biggest wave, women's biggest wave, and wipeout. The Women's World Champion Tour has competitors from Japan, Costa Rica, Australia, United States, France, and Brazil. The Men's World Tour has competitors from Australia, Brazil, United States, Portugal, Italy, Japan, South Africa, France. The Tahiti Pro Teahupo'o starts on August 26 through September 6, 2020.
