The Arrival of First Missionaries is celebrated on March 5. In 1797 the First missionaries came to the French Polynesia in a ship named Duff. It is important because Chrainstny is the main religion of the French Polynesian Islands. Christianity was spread because of the missionaries that were Christians from a London Missionary Society.  Now they celebrate this holiday, The Arrival of First Missionaries, by everyone going to churches and choirs singing songs at church.
